Kunsthalle Bremen

The Kunsthalle Bremen draws a bow in its collection from the 14th century until today: european paintings since the Middle Ages until the present, sculptures from the 16th until the 21st century and art from New Media. Focuses can be found on German and French art of the 19th century. The Department of prints and drawings is extraordinary with its 230,000 works on paper. The special shows, which changes regularly, are drawn to important artists or Contemporary Art.
